It all began in 2013 at our 10 year old's birthday party.  The Mustang and Wild Horse Rescue of GA was the charity of Bella's choice and to have donations given instead of gifts.  After that, becoming a volunteer was a must and that is when Buck arrived.  He was frightened and unapproachable.  Emaciated and full of parasites, the six year old gelding had no will to live.  Three weeks of patience and perseverance, Bella earned the first touch.  After fostering him for a year and then adopting him with her own money, we brought him home.  The rest has been a journey of sweat, tears, lessons and the most of all, one of the most beautiful of relationships.
